A LITTLE, IN PROGRESS

This was my fourth ever painting. Painted June 21, 2026. I was outside late on the 20th, and the streetlight was illuminating the construction site next door so beautifully. I bent low to the ground and captured a photo that showed the light just perfect. Radiant. Bursting. The day after I took the photo I sat down and painted this. It was my first painting done with my own alcohol markers. Up til this point I had mostly used my mom's (bless her soul). I remember getting lost in this painting. Before I knew it, 5 hours was well spent, and I emerged a little more the artist I am today. 🥰
